Birth Certificate Office Temporarily Closed: Here's What To Do
Residents are urged to go online or visit another health department branch in Maryland to obtain a birth certificate.
BETHESDA, MD — If you need to pick up your birth certificate anytime soon, you won't be able to swing by Montgomery County's vital records branch.
According to county officials, birth certificate services will be unavailable until the new employee responsible for those records gets trained by the state. It is not immediately known when the office will reopen.
But don't worry: there are plenty of ways to still get your birth certificate.
