Images of Capital One Bank Robber Released: Police

Detectives released surveillance video and photographs Wednesday of a Silver Spring bank robbery suspect and asked for the public’s help identifying the man.

Montgomery County Police say the robbery occurred about 3:40 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the Capital One Bank, 8315 Georgia Ave. The suspect reportedly showed a handgun to a teller, demanded money, and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity is asked to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).

Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to the arrest and/or indictment of this suspect. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
