Images of Macy's Robbery Suspect Released
Montgomery County Police say a couple used stolen credit cards in DC shortly after a woman was robbed at a Bethesda mall.
Surveillance photos of a man and woman suspected of using stolen credit cards taken from a Macy’s shopper in November have been released by Montgomery County Police.
Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify three suspects involved in the armed robbery that occurred in a parking garage at the Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. Last week, investigators released surveillance photographs of two of the suspects.
A woman was robbed by three men Nov. 27 in the parking garage near Macy’s. One of the suspects was armed with a weapon. The suspects fled the area in a grey Dodge Avenger with damage to the front passenger side tire rim.

The three suspects are described as black men, about 20 to 25 years old. At the time of the robbery, the first suspect was wearing a blue hat, blue shirt and blue jeans.
The second suspect was wearing a black shirt and dark colored jeans.

The surveillance photographs released show a male and female suspect who used the victim’s credit cards at two stores in Northeast Washington, D.C., about an hour after the robbery. Investigators believe that the male suspect in the photograph was also involved in the armed robbery.
