Indiana Man Accused Of Killing Sister In Bethesda: Police
Devon Miller of Indianapolis was arrested Monday in connection with the death of a 37-year-old Bethesda woman, police said.

BETHESDA, MD — An Indiana man has been charged with homicide after his sister was found dead in Bethesda, authorities said.
Devon Miller, 30, of Indianapolis, was arrested Monday and charged in connection with the death of 37-year-old Shanon Marie Barnett of Bethesda, Montgomery County police said in a news release.
According to authorities, police received a call around 10:30 p.m. Monday about suspicious activity in the 10500 block of Westlake Drive. Approximately 20 minutes later, authorities received a second call for a domestic-related situation at the same location.

When police arrived, they located Barnett inside a residence. Officers attempted to provide aid, but Barnett was pronounced dead at the scene.
Barnett's body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the official cause and manner of death.

Miller was arrested without incident and taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is currently being held without bond.
