Kit and Ace Now Open at Bethesda Row

Exclusive clothing store – Kit and Ace, started by Lululemon founder Chip Wilson and his wife and son – opened Tuesday on Bethesda Row.

The Washington Business Journal reports Kit and Ace occupies 3,700 square feet.

The store opened at 4838 Bethesda Ave. in the former location of Assaggi Restaurant and Mozzarella Bar, according to Bethesda magazine, and is close to the Lululemon store.

Prices for the clothing range from $88 for T-shirts and scarfs to $148 for men’s pants and $168 for dresses, according to the company’s website. A spring looks section online promotes the retailer’s Technical Cashmere, which it says can be washed and is cool enough for warm weather.

The company lists seven store locations in the United States and Canada – it’s based in Vancouver – but the Wilsons said in a Fortune story that they plan to expand Kit and Ace to more than 30 stores this year.
