Launch Workplaces Announces Second Bethesda Location

-- Flexible workspace on Wisconsin Avenue set to open in September --

BETHESDA, Md., July 18, 2019 – Launch Workplaces, a provider of flexible workspace environments in commercial real estate, today announced its newest coworking center, Launch Bethesda Wisconsin, will open in September.

The new location will be the flexible workspace company’s ninth space, and is the result of a joint venture management agreement with Washington Property Company (WPC) in which Launch Workplaces will fully operate the coworking space in WPC’s building.

Launch Workplaces is currently overseeing extensive renovation of the approximately 6,500 square foot space located at 6900 Wisconsin Avenue. The flexible workspace will span the building’s entire second floor, with potential to expand to additional floors in the 42,000 square foot building in the future.

“Launch Workplaces provides more than a space to work, we provide a user experience, and Washington Property Company is working with us to do just that with Launch Bethesda Wisconsin,” said Mike Kriel, chief executive officer of Launch Workplaces. “Flexibility and agility are driving today’s workforce and we create offices to match this mindset. Today, modifications of the physical workspace are a tenant necessity to accommodate growth and changing business needs. Our newest location keeps tenant needs in mind while also offering an engaging office environment with a focus on community and building relationships.”

Launch Bethesda Wisconsin is in Bethesda’s Central Business District and will have 20 private offices, 12 workstations, two multimedia conference rooms, and large shared spaces including a kitchen and eating area. Launch Workplaces, the flexible workspace division of The Brick Companies, will produce regular networking events and workshops to help tenants engage with each other and various industry experts will be brought in to speak.
