The neighborhood deer on my street are braver and braver, wandering in to the back yard through a break in the hedges Then they feast on any tender greens they can find. Before I had a soft spot for Bambi - a hold-over from my childhood but its really hard these days to hold onto that sweet feeling when I see piles of deer droppings on the front walk. Ah, me.
