David Goldberg of a Bethesda hardware store says of his hybrid, motorized toilet turned snowplow: "It's all about the looks."

“This is Loo-cy. Our motorized toilet that we did this summer for the pride parade. We just added a snow plow and [we’re] ready for … snow.”

Tuesday morning, Goldberg uploaded video to YouTube showing his gadget clearing the sidewalk along Norfolk Avenue near Wisconsin Avenue.

Goldberg said on YouTube that the throne on wheels is a hybrid, so it’s green, as well as ingenious.

“I have not had to start the engine yet, but it is there after a long day if needed,” Goldberg wrote Tuesday. “I do have duel exhaust mounted for show. It’s all about the looks and fun.”
