Lucky Strike Bethesda Location To Open March 4
The public opening date for the Lucky Strike Bethesda location in Westfield Mall will be March 4.
From Brotman, Winter, Fried: Lucky Strike, which has announced March 4 as the public opening date for their new Bethesda location at Westfield Montgomery Mall (7101 Democracy Blvd., Level 1), introduced the management team, led by General Manager Michael Jones. Other key personnel include David Hynes as Executive Chef, Assistant GM Kyrie Khan and Event Sales Manager Danielle Russin.
Michael Jones brings more than 30 years of hospitality and culinary experience to the Lucky Strike team, including an eight-year stint as Special Assistant to President Bill Clinton. Most recently, the native Washingtonian served as Operating Partner for The American Tap Room, one of Bethesda’s most successfully run restaurants. While at ATR, Jones established his aptitude for procuring a flavorful array of beers. He brings to Lucky Strike Bethesda a wide array of beers, with an emphasis on local and regional craft brews.
A Montgomery County resident, Jones is a former candidate for County Council and has previously represented the county’s restaurant community before both local government and state legislatures regarding issues related specifically to the dining and hospitality industry.
David Hynes brings culinary credits to the Lucky Strike kitchen from the BR Guest family of restaurants in New York City, first as a corporate chef for 12 years at Blue Water Grill. He opened the company’s inaugural New York steakhouse – Primehouse – and later served as the executive chef at Strip House. Moving to his wife’s home state of Maryland, he has worked as the corporate chef at Waterfront Kitchen in Baltimore and most recently as the executive chef at Coho Grill in Columbia, Maryland.
Kyrie Khan has served in a management role at several restaurants in the Washington area, including general manager roles over the last seven years at such popular places as Dogfish Head Alehouse,Gordon Biersch, and Boqueria. Focused on customer experience, Khan has a total of 14 years in the hospitality industry, a solid background for his role at Lucky Strike.
Danielle Russin, born and raised in Montgomery County, is a hospitality industry professional who joined the Lucky Strike family in 2015. She has prior sales and operations experience in both entertainment and casual-fine dining, bringing a solid background and strong sense of teamwork to Lucky Strike Bethesda.
Operating hours for Lucky Strike Bethesda will be 11 am until midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 11 am until 2 am on Friday and Saturday.
