Malia's Kitchen To Open In Montgomery Mall Food Court: Report

BETHESDA, MD — Malia’s Kitchen, a food truck that serves soul food and seafood, is bringing its popular dishes to the Westfield Montgomery Mall food court, according to The MoCo Show.

The popular food truck will be replacing the space previously occupied by Lazzaro’s Authentic Italian Deli and Big Al’s Sub Shop.

No opening date for Malia’s Kitchen has been announced, The MoCo Show reported Monday.

Roberta Hillary, head chef and partner of Malia’s Kitchen, says her goal is "delivering you the best 'homemade' down home cooking in the DMV."

"Our goal is to deliver homestyle soul food with our food truck and full-service catering options," Hillary explains on Malia's Kitchen website. "Although our primary focus is lunch & dinner, our team can also be available for corporate breakfast catering via our food truck or catering delivery services."
