Man Safe After Threat to Harm Himself: Update

A man who lived in Wheaton and Takoma Park went missing; police sought the public's help.

A man missing after a threatening to harm himself was found Friday evening and is safe, police said.

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help finding Su Yong Park, 71.

Park has lived in Wheaton and Takoma Park recently, past but investigators have been unable to confirm his current address.

Park called a medical facility and said he wanted to harm himself. Investigators are attempting to locate Park and check his welfare.
