THE MARKET AT RIVER FALLS CELEBRATES GRAND REOPENING THIS WEEKEND
Weekend-long grand re-opening celebration of The Market at River Falls - January 3-4, 2015
Join us at The Market at River Falls this weekend, January 3rd and 4th, to celebrate our grand reopening!
Several of our purveyors from around the regional will be on site throughout the weekend offering product tastings and greeting customers. You’ll also enjoy complimentary samples of oysters, sushi, mini crab cakes and more from behind the counters while you shop.
On Saturday, featured producers include:
- Manoli Canoli Olive Oil & Olives (10am to 2pm) - A family-owned producer of extra virgin Greek olive oil

- Double Premium Confections (1pm to 4pm) - Washington-based artisans passionate about the art of confections and chocolate making.
- Stachowski Meats (2pm to 5pm) - All-natural charcuterie, including sausages and cured smoked meats, from local chef Jamie Stachowski.

- La Pasta (2pm to 5pm) - Delightful, distinctive and delicious fresh pastas and award-winning sauces by artisanal pasta makers, including gluten-free pastas and vegan raviolis.
On Sunday, featured producers include:
- JRINK (11am to 2pm) - Fresh, cold-pressed juices packed with essential nutrients and all-natural enery for life-pressed people.
- Whisked! (1pm to 4pm) - Award-winning pies, quiches and cookies from this Washington-based bakery that has quickly become a darling of area farmers markets.
- Capitol Kombucha (3pm to 6pm) - The Capital’s first producer of this ancient, healing tea.
Also during the celebration, we’ll be offering special pricing on some of our high-end, high-quality items, like prime steaks and seafood, and you’ll receive a $20 credit off your next purchase when you spend $100 or more this weekend, as a token of our gratitude. We’ll see you this weekend!
The Market at River Falls is located in the Potomac Place Shopping Center at 10124 River Road in Potomac, Md, and offers a broad selection of regionally-sourced meats, fresh seafood, sushi, seasonal produce, baked goods, and prepared offerings. The Market is open Monday-Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm, and 10 am to 6pm on Sundays.
