Missing Kensington Man with Dementia Found: Update

Montgomery County Police appealed to the public Friday night to help find an elderly Kensington man with dementia. He was found Monday.

KENSINGTON, MD — Gerald Webster -- an elderly Kensington man with dementia reported missing on Friday -- has been located and is safe and unharmed, Montgomery County Police say.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department are asking for the public’s help as they try to locate a missing Kensington man who has dementia.

Gerald Webster, 73, from the 3000 block of McComas Avenue, was last seen leaving his residence about 5:15 p.m. Friday; he told a friend he was taking a bus to the Georgia Avenue area.

Webster is described as a black male, 5’8” tall, and weighs about 100 pounds. He has short grey hair, brown eyes, a grey colored goatee, and was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

Police say Webster suffers from dementia and uses a silver-colored walker to assist with his mobility.

Anyone with information in reference to the whereabouts of Gerald Webster is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
