Friday, January 16

• A fundraiser to support West African Ebola survivors and their families is taking place at the Silver Spring Civic Building at 7 p.m.
• Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club present Cameo at 7 p.m.
• Sandy Spring Theatre presents The 39 Steps at Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 8 p.m.
• Rockville Little Theatre presents Go Back for Murder at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre in Rockville at 8 p.m.
• Violinist Gil Shaham performs Bach’s complete sonatas and partitas at the Music Center at Strathmore at 8 p.m.

Saturday, January 17

• Manna Food partners with Giant Food for their Annual MLK Holiday Food Drive. Please help by donating at any Giant store in the county from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Montgomery College’s Children Series continues with Four Score and Seven Years Ago in Rockville at 11 a.m.
• Award winning pianist Jessica Osborne performs at the Kentlands Mansion in Gaithersburg at 7 p.m. This is the second part of the of the Shostakovich Project.
• Sandy Spring Theatre presents The 39 Steps at Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 8 p.m.
• Rockville Little Theatre presents Go Back for Murder at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre in Rockville at 8 p.m.
• Singer-songwriter Mary Ann Redmond performs at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club at 8 p.m.
• The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Led by conductor Günther Herbig and featuring pianist Alon Goldstein perform Symphony No. 8 by Bruckner at the Music Center at Strathmore at 8 p.m.

Sunday, January 18

• The Winter Olney Farmers and Artists Market will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Manna’s Annual MLK Holiday Food Drive is accepting donations of food from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at any of the 27 Montgomery County Giant Food stores.
• Sandy Spring Theatre presents The 39 Steps at Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 2 p.m.
• Rockville Little Theatre presents Go Back for Murder at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre in Rockville at 2 p.m.
• Join the International Cultural Center’s Youth Against Hunger in Gaithersburg at 3 p.m. as part of the county’s MLK Day of Service projects
• D.C. based dance company Step Afrika! presents Step Xplosion at the Music Center at Strathmore at 4 p.m.
• The Soul Serenaders perform at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club at 7:30 p.m.
