Montgomery Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges
State Police say a Takoma Park man had images of child pornography on his home computers.

A Takoma Park man is in custody on child pornography charges, according to the Maryland State Police.
The suspect is identified as Bradley C. Porter, 39, who was arrested without incident.
Porter was charged with distributing child pornography via a file sharing network, possession of child pornography, and visual surveillance with prurient intent.

During a search of Porter’s residence in April by a Maryland State Police computer crimes investigator and agents from the Department of Homeland Security, numerous types of digital media were seized, including computers and external hard drives. These items were found to contain images of child pornography, authorities say.
Porter fled to Knoxville, TN, after the search warrant was executed, but returned to Maryland.

Porter turned himself in to investigators at the Maryland State Police Rockville Barrack. He was taken to the Montgomery County Detention Center and is awaiting a hearing by the District Court Commissioner.
