"I do a bunch of competitions at my high school — Science Bowl, Quiz Bowl," Weng said.
The teen, however, only began watching ABC's Emmy-awarding winning show "Jeopardy!" when she was studying for Quiz Bowl.

After taking a teen "Jeopardy!" test, Weng was invited to come in and audition for the show.
"(I)t was so fun; I had a really good audition," Weng told DCist.
Weng was later flown out to Culver City, California to tape the show. On set, she met more than a dozen teens from across the country.
The "Jeopardy!" Teen Tournament pits 15 teens against each other for a $100,000 grand prize.
Already pre-taped, Weng's first match against Justin Bolsen, of Georgia, and Rohit Kataria, of Ohio, will air on ABC later this week. According to DCist, there are two more rounds before a winner is crowned.
The "Jeopardy!" Teen Tournament airs Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. on WJLA.
