Motorcyclist Dies from Crash Injuries: Police
Montgomery County Police say a Silver Spring man died May 23, two weeks after his motorcycle was hit by a pickup truck.

A Silver Spring man has died from injuries he suffered two weeks ago when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck, police say.
Montgomery County Police say Thomas Steven Rose, 59, of the 11300 block of Cloverhill Drive in Silver Spring, died from his injuries at a local hospital on May 23.

Rose was injured May 9 in a crash at the intersection of Randolph Road and Bushey Drive. Montgomery County Police say that
Preliminary investigation indicates that a 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by Mario Evert Carrasco Gonzales, 43, of the 3900 block of Ilford Road in Silver Spring was southbound on Bushey Drive. A 2002 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Rose was traveling west on Randolph Road.

Authorities say Gonzales’ pickup attempted to cross Randolph Road and collided with the motorcycle in the intersection.
Detectives continue to investigate this collision. Anyone who saw the crash is asked to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620. Callers may remain anonymous.
