North Bethesda Bank Robbery Surveillance Video Released
Montgomery County Police have released security video of a suspect in the robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank in North Bethesda.

NORTH BETHESDA, MD — Surveillance camera images of a robbery at a Wells Fargo Bank in North Bethesda was released Friday by Montgomery County Police in hopes that the public can help identify the suspect. The robbery was reported just after 5 p.m. July 28 at the bank at 10305 Westlake Drive.
Investigators say the suspect approached a teller inside the bank, then showed the employee a note that implied the robber had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot southbound on Westlake Drive toward Democracy Boulevard. (Watch the video at the bottom of this story.)

Anyone with information about the suspect or the bank robbery is asked to call Montgomery County Police at 240-773-5100. To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to the arrest and/or indictment of this suspect. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
