NYC-Style French Fry Chain Aims To Open MD Location: Report
New York Fries, a fast-food chain specializing in serving NYC-style fries and hot dogs, aims to bring a franchise to an MD retail center.
BETHESDA, MD — A fast-food chain specializing in serving New York City-style fries and hot dogs plans to expand to retail centers in a number of U.S. markets, including the greater Washington, D.C. area, according to reports.
One of the locations New York Fries is interested in is in Bethesda, according to the Washington Business Journal.
"Customers can order their fries naked, served up with a selection of dips or topped with options including pulled pork poutine and chili cheese," WBJ reports. "The chain also serves up hot dogs, which can also be ordered plain or topped."

The company said its fries are fresh cut with the skins on, cooked in non-hydrogenated sunflower oil, and served crisp with a pinch of salt.
Prospective franchisees take note: The Canadian-based company charges a franchise fee of $30,000 and setting up a store can cost around $368,800 to $442,700, according to WBJ's reporting.

"We fundamentally believe, if you have a great product, you can deliver it quickly and with
great value, we believe it will work," said Dave Colebrook, president of quick-service
restaurants and emerging brands for Recipe Unlimited Corp., the chain's parent company, in a news release.
New York Fries hasn't selected any local spots or franchise partners yet. For locations, it's
looking for space in high-traffic areas including Bethesda, Georgetown and Tysons.
