Pedestrian Hit By Falling Tree Branch, Seriously Injured: MCFRS
A pedestrian walking in North Bethesda was struck by a falling tree branch. The victim, according to fire officials, is seriously hurt.
BETHESDA, MD — A pedestrian was seriously injured by a falling tree branch while walking in North Bethesda Tuesday morning, fire officials said.
The incident happened on Tuckerman Lane, near Hampton Mill Terrace, around 9 a.m., according to Pete Piringer, a spokesman for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service. Piringer said that a passing truck hit an overhanging tree branch, which then fell onto the pedestrian.
