Philz Coffee In Bethesda Closes Permanently

BETHESDA, MD — Philz Coffee in Bethesda has closed permanently, according to the company’s website.

The coffee shop, at 7247 Woodmont Avenue, was the company’s only location in Maryland.

The closure, first reported by The MoCo Show, comes less than four years after it opened in December 2018.

Philz Coffee’s other locations in the D.C. area, including in the Navy Yard and Adams Morgan in D.C. and in Ballston in Arlington, will remain open, according to The MoCo Show.
