Police: Student Dies at Brooke Lee Middle School

Detectives are investigating the death of a 7th grader Monday afternoon at Col. E. Brooke Lee Middle School. The death is being investigated as a suicide, according to Montgomery County Police.

Police and first responders were called at approximately 2:20 p.m. when the male student was found unresponsive in the bathroom. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to police.

The students name is not currently being released. Investigators are working with the Montgomery County Public School staff.
