Hi, I’m Paige, 23, in law school and seriously considering farming instead of lawyering. I have been farming on my parent’s property in Poolesville this summer and everything I sell I started from seed in late February. I don’t use chemicals or pesticides— everything is naturally and organically fertilized (thanks to Tastee Diner’s coffee grounds!). I have numerous varieties of heirloom tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, squash, zucchini, and cucumbers. I’ll also occasionally have eggs - our chickens are our friends, they have a wonderful life grazing our pastures and spending their days with their friends Dora, Diego and Tico (the goats) and our donkeys. They eat scraps from my favorite restaurant, INFERNO who also buys my produce (sometimes all that I have). Stop by and say hi, look for our vintage red tractor. I'll be popping up until I head back to school at the end of August. Mention this post and I’ll throw in a freebie! Paige
