Residents Asked To Check Security Systems For Bethesda Stabbing Footage
Montgomery County Police are asking residents on Thoreau Drive in Bethesda to check security video for footage of a weekend stabbing.

BETHESDA, MD — Authorities are asking residents with home surveillance cameras on Thoreau Drive in Bethesda to check their recordings to see if they captured footage of a weekend stabbing. Montgomery County Police issued the plea as they investigate the stabbing of a 23-year-old man that occurred in the 8300 block of Thoreau Drive.
Police say the attack was reported about 1:15 a.m. Sunday, June 4. On Wednesday, investigators asked residents in the area to review their video for any suspicious activity or the suspect’s vehicle, a small, silver-colored SUV.
The victim was walking westbound on Wilson Lane between Old Georgetown Road and Bradley Boulevard when two men, possibly in their 20s, stopped and offered the victim a ride, police said, reports Montgomery Community Media. The suspects drove the victim to a home in the 8300 block of Thoreau Drive, and as he walked toward the house, the two men punched, kicked and stabbed him.
