UPDATE: Silver Alert Canceled, Chevy Chase Man Found
Montgomery County Police have canceled a Silver Alert for an 83-year-old Chevy Chase resident, who has been found.

UPDATED at 3:45 p.m. CHEVY CHASE, MD — A Silver Alert has been canceled for an elderly Silver Spring man who was reported missing Tuesday. Police said Wednesday afternoon that he has been located safe and unharmed.

The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Chevy Chase man. A Silver Alert has been issued for Edward Youth, 83, of North Park Avenue in Chevy Chase.

Youth was last seen about 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Giant grocery store at 5400 Westbard Ave. in Bethesda.
He is described as a white man, 5’4″ tall, weighs about 150 pounds, and wears glasses. Police say Youth has dementia and needs medication that is not with him.

Youth was driving a light green, 2007 Volvo S80 (four-door sedan) with Maryland tag: LPD340.
Anyone with information regarding Youth’s whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
