[solidcore] Expands to Maryland with Two Bethesda Studios
The DC-founded workout studio that Michelle Obama uses will soon open in Wildwood Shopping Center and downtown Bethesda.

BETHESDA, MD – The first Maryland location for [solidcore] will open Jan. 16 in the Wildwood Shopping Center, 10245 Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda, the company says in a release.
A second studio in downtown Bethesda is scheduled to open in March 2016.
The fitness company has four studios in Washington, D.C., and three studios in Northern Virginia. First Lady Michelle Obama has been a regular client for the past two years, the business says.

“Wildwood and Bethesda are perfect markets for us as they are dense with fitness-minded individuals with busy schedules,” said Anne Mahlum, founder and CEO of [solidcore]. “Nothing will give you the results that [solidcore] does and you only have to do it 3-4 times a week.”
The business promotes a 50-minute full body workout that uses slow and controlled movements to work your muscles.

The second Maryland location will open its doors in downtown Bethesda at 7101 Wisconsin Ave. in March 2016. This will be the ninth studio in the DMV since the company was founded in November 2013.
Certified [solidcore] coaches lead clients through hundreds of moves and resistance options to consistently challenge the body, meaning every workout is different, which keeps the body guessing. The class sizes of no more than 14 people means each client receives personalized attention and coaches are able to manage different fitness levels in class.
