Friday, February 19

- Bethesda’s Gallery B art exhibit this month features works by Heather Jacks, Darlene Towson and Andrew Wohl. The gallery is open from noon to 6 p.m.
- The alternative rock band, Never Shout Never performs at Fillmore Silver Spring at 6:30 p.m.
- Bluesman John Hammond appears at AMP by Strathmore at 8 p.m.
- Montgomery Playhouse’s production of A Grand Night for Singing continues at Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 8 p.m. Will run through Feb. 27.
- Round House Theatre’s production of Father Comes Home From the Wars performance begins at 8 p.m.in Bethesda.
- Montgomery College presents Almost Blue, a drama set in a seedy rooming house. Tonight’s performance is at 8 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Center in Takoma Park.
- Olney Theatre and Tectonic Theater Project present Carmen – An Afro-Cuban Jazz Musical at 8 p.m.
- Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club present A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen & The E St. Band at 8 p.m.

- Looking for a way to get a great workout in? You may want to try “Dash and Splash” at the Rockville Swim & Fitness Center – a 20 minute walk/run on a treadmill followed by a 20 minute swim. Registration required for a specific wave between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m.
- Celebrate Black History Month at “Taking Nature Black” at Woodend Nature Sanctuary in Chevy Chase from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- PFLAG Germantown is hosting an open forum on LGBTQ equity and safety at 2 p.m. at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown.
- Round House Theatre’s production of Father Comes Home From the Wars has performances at 2 and 8 p.m.in Bethesda.
- Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club present ‘An Evening with Pat McGee‘ at 8 p.m.
- Montgomery Playhouse’s production of A Grand Night for Singing continues tonight at Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 8 p.m.
- The National Philharmonic perform at The Music Center at Strathmore at 8 p.m. with cellist Zuill Bailey.

- Montgomery Playhouse’s production of A Grand Night for Singingcontinues today at Gaithersburg Arts Barn with a matinee at 2 p.m.
- Round House Theatre’s production of Father Comes Home From the Wars has a matinee performance at 2 p.m.in Bethesda.
- Montgomery College presents Almost Blue, a drama set in a seedy rooming house. Today’s performance is at 2 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Center in Takoma Park.
