Storm Pipe Repairs May Cause Delays On Cabin John Parkway
Work on Cabin John Parkway is scheduled to begin on March 18 and end in mid-spring.
BETHESDA, MD — Starting March 18, crews will be closing the right shoulder of the Capital Beltway's inner loop bridge over Cabin John Parkway for emergency storm drain pipe repair work. If necessary, the right lane at exit 40 will able be closed, Maryland transportation officials said.
The bridge will be open for travel during this work. According to officials, crews are expected to wrap up work by mid-spring.
"The bridge will remain open for travel during this work, but motorists should anticipate changing traffic patterns in the work zone," officials said.
