Suicidal Bethesda Teen Found Safe: Police

A Bethesda teenager who left home and left a suicide note has been found unharmed, authorities said Wednesday.

Bethesda, MD — A suicidal teen has been safe and unharmed, said Montgomery County Police on Wednesday.

Detectives had asked for the public’s assistance in locating Delano Munoz Whatts, 18. He left his home in the 5100 block of Dudley Lane about 10 p.m. on Tuesday after a disagreement with a family member.

Whatts was driving a blue, 2007, Nissan Altima with Maryland tags 4BY4229.

The teen left a note with suicidal statements, authorities say. Family and police were concerned for his safety and welfare.
