Teen Flees From Officers, Crashes Stolen Car In Bethesda: Police
Police say a car that crashed into a pole while fleeing officers in Montgomery County Thursday was stolen.

BETHESDA, MD — Police say a car that crashed into a pole while fleeing officers in Montgomery County Thursday was stolen. Authorities arrested and charged two juveniles and an adult shortly after the incident.
Montgomery County police did not release the suspects' identities, citing an ongoing investigation and their ages. According to authorities, the driver is a teenage boy.
Around 1:38 a.m., officers attempted to conduct a routine traffic stop on southbound I-270, near Falls Road, in Rockville. The 2015 Honda Civic, which police discovered was stolen, then took off.

The police chase ended when the stolen Honda Civic crashed into a pole near West Lake and Rock Spring drives in Bethesda.
Police said the car belongs to a resident of Gainsborough Road in Potomac. The vehicle was stolen either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, according to authorities.

All three suspects were charged with stealing a car, police said. The driver was also charged with other traffic-related offenses.
