There's Fun To Spare At Bowlero's Newest Alley In Bethesda

BETHESDA, MD – The world leader in bowling entertainment, Bowlero (formerly Bowlmor AMF) will celebrate the grand opening of its newest Bethesda location in late September, an occasion marking the unveiling of Bowlero's third alley in Maryland. The new store will join those in College Park and Timonium, marking a new era in bowling, dining and entertainment.

Located at 5353 Westbard Avenue, just off River Road, the newly renovated venue features 34 lanes of black light bowling, soft lounge seating and high definition video walls at the end of the lanes that play everything from live sports and music videos to classic family films.

The venue also includes an all-new interactive arcade that houses a captivating array of games, including The Giant Crane, Mario Kart and Hot Shot Basketball, plus old school favorites like darts and billiards.

Inspired design is at the heart of every Bowlero, and Bethesda proves to be no exception. From its vintage Edison light fixtures and rich Herringbone-patterned floors to its retro-inspired wall graphics, Bowlero offers guests the perfect environment to let loose, hang out, and have fun on the lanes.

Bowlero Bethesda will also feature the brand’s drool-worthy menu which includes “Oversized Sharebles” like the XXL Party Pretzel, two-foot-long Coney Mega Dog and 100+ ounce cocktails like the Dunk Tank and Mega Mules that are made to be shared. Also on the menu are cocktails, wines and craft beer.

To celebrate the new renovations, Bowlero Bethesda invites everyone in the community to join the grand opening celebration on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with free bowling, arcade play, giveaways and chance to meet and bowl with Washington Redskins Running Back Chris Thompson.
