Thieves Hit Sephora, Target Stores; Police Share Surveillance Photos
Thieves stole items from the Sephora store in Chevy Chase and a Target in Bethesda. Police hope you can help find the suspects.

BETHESDA, MD — A group of thieves who stole items from the Sephora store in Chevy Chase and a Target in Bethesda last month were caught on surveillance cameras. Montgomery County Police on Thursday released images of the seven suspects in hopes the public can help find them.
The thieves used a stolen Kia to commit the crimes. Detectives have posted surveillance photos of the suspects which you can see here.
A police news release said the first theft happened April 28 at the Sephora in the 5300 block of Western Avenue in Chevy Chase. The thieves walked into the store, placed merchandise in shopping bags and ran out of the store without paying.

They fled in a black Kia with Washington, D.C. license plate GC-5918.
On April 29, officers responded to a theft report at the Target store in the 6800 block of Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda. In that incident, thieves stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise and left the scene in the scene in the same Kia bearing the same D.C. license plate.

Detectives ask that anyone with information about the thefts or the suspects involved call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects. Callers may remain anonymous.
