The tiny house craze has spawned TV shows and a different crop of home owners in recent years, but a former Pepco substation turned house was decades ahead of the fad.
And for $475,000, you can own a 315-square-foot tiny house at 4905 River Road in Bethesda. The structure – built in 1940 -- was sold by the utility to a homeowner in 1980 for $4,000. It sits on a 1,846 square-foot lot. >>> Read more.

Reports: Ben Carson Ending Presidential Bid
Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who briefly ascended to the top of the Republican presidential field only to sink like a rock in the days before February’s Iowa caucuses, all but suspended his low-key, faith-based presidential campaign Wednesday.
Carson said in a statement that he will not participate in Thursday night’s FOX News debate in his hometown of Detroit. >>> Read more.
