Top 100 Schools In MD For 2019: New List

MARYLAND — How's this for comprehensive: Now you can find out if your district has the best schools of any grade level, public and private, in Maryland.

Niche.com, which specializes in all different types of rankings, released a new 2019 list slightly different than its usual rankings. This time around, Niche ranked what it says are the top 100 schools in Maryland, including both private and public schools, and spanning elementary, middle and high schools. (See the full list below.)

In this list, Niche prefers private schools. The top entry was a private prep school, Holton-Arms, and four of the next five institutions listed were all private schools.

It is important to remember that every school on this top 100 list receives either an A+ or an A for an overall score from Niche.

Niche's methodology is based on an analysis of academic and student-life data from the US Department of Education along with test scores, and feedback from Niche.com users. You can read the methodology by clicking here.
