Traffic Alert: 10 Hurt When Metro Bus, Dump Truck Collide
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services says none of the injuries are believed to be life threatening. Traffic was tied up in the area.

A collision between a Metro bus and a dump truck sent 10 people to area hospitals and tied up traffic for hours Wednesday, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesman Pete Piringer.

The accident happened at New Hampshire Avenue and Tracey Drive in White Oak.
Piringer tweeted that none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

The dump truck driver was not injured, he said. Nine adults, including the bus driver, and one child were taken to hospitals.
The bus had 17 passengers on board at the time of the accident.
One northbound lane of New Hampshire Avenue reopened by mid-afternoon.
