Traffic Alert: Resurfacing on MD 410 Begins Sunday Night
As crews start work on the last section of the highway, the SHA says the work will include nighttime lane closures.
Work to resurface the final section of East West Highway in Silver Spring should begin Sunday, bringing lane closures.
Weather permitting, the Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration will start work on a section of MD 410 (East West Highway) between Carey Lane and Fenton Street Sunday night, according to a news release.
The overall project should be complete by late fall.

Crews will close one lane in both directions of MD 410 overnight, Sunday through Thursday between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Work crews may also close one lane weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for other phases of construction.
