Under Armour and their Charitable programs for athletes

Kevin Plank, founder of Under Armour sports attire and brand of athletic fabric was a former University of Maryland special teams Captain. He originally formed his company in the basement of of his Grandmother's Georgetown home.

His first product was a sweat resistant t-shirt ,Cold Gear Fabric to absorb the sweat of the intensely playing athlete who would otherwise end up drenched in sweat while playing within a few rounds. After the success of his Cold Gear Fabric he moved his headquarters to Baltimore, Maryland. Today they sell several products for all genders and all levels of athletes.

His popular products for men include; rugby shirts, sweatpants, knit t shirts, all weather jackets, hoodies, boxer jocks, athletic swimwear, athletic shoes, shorts, tank tops and travel gear.

For women, there are sweat free yoga pants, jogging pants, athletic shoes, swimwear, supportive sports bras, socks, light weight jackets and hoodies for outdoor sports and many of the same competitively priced attire for children. They even have a UA Baywatch collection and sleepwear for all genders. The yoga pants are exceptionally dry in all kinds of athletic situations, but as always the rule of thumb is to never wear yoga pants to work no matter how one can dress them up,

Their team sports apparel are some of the most technologically advanced sportswear money can buy with many advances in the business of keeping the athlete sweat-free and dry in all kinds of environments. The clothing such as the compression t-shirt is designed to keep the athlete dry , cool and light in all kinds of intense play.

Passion is a huge part of what UA does to help their athletes and to give back to the community. They have locations all over the Maryland, Delaware and Virginia area.
