Urban Country to Host Month-Long Charity Event Supporting Brain Cancer Research with Lee Industries Furniture Home Purchases
Five Percent of All Lee Industries Furniture Purchases to Benefit Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure

Bethesda, MD – Urban Country is embracing America’s birthday by giving back. Through the month of July, Urban Country Designs in Bethesda Row is partnering with custom upholstered and leather furniture manufacturer Lee Industries Inc. to support a national capital area nonprofit organization that funds research for brain cancer. From Wednesday July 1-Friday, July 31, Urban Country will donate five percent of purchases on Lee Industries furniture to Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure (ABC2.org) – a Washington DC based-venture philanthropy that drives cutting-edge research and treatments for brain tumors. All Lee merchandise including sofas, loveseats, chairs, sleepers, and outdoor furniture will benefit this foundation.
Urban Country founder and owner Rachelle Roth and her daughters Jillian and Sascha, co-owners, are extremely passionate about raising money for brain tumor treatment and research. In 1998, Jeffrey Roth, loving husband, father and co-founder of Urban Country, was diagnosed with glioblastoma, the most aggressive of all brain cancers. Jeffrey fought bravely with grace and dignity for nearly two years before losing his battle to cancer. The Roth family has dedicated themselves to spotlight this horrific disease to raise funds for a cure.
