VIDEO: Tire Explodes As Man Fills It With Air
A man in Chevy Chase was shocked, and his car damaged, by an exploding tire.
CHEVY CHASE, MD — A man filling up his tires in Chevy Chase had quite a scare. WJLA shared a video of the incident in which a tire exploded in a man's face as he was putting air in.
Part of the car's fender ended up in a nearby tree, according to WJLA.
The damage to the car's wheel well area was extensive, but luckily, the man suffered no serious injuries, the outlet said.
