Weather Update From Montgomery County Schools For Jan 17 2018

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Public schools in Montgomery County will be closed for students on Wednesday, Jan. 17, school officials announced Wednesday morning. Snow was falling in the region, which was under a winter weather advisory for slippery roads.

Montgomery County Public Schools previously announced a two-hour delay for students; however, after a review, officials said that road conditions were unsafe, and school was canceled on Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Administrative offices will open on time, and day care programs in school buildings will also open as planned, school officials advised.
