West Elm Coming To Bethesda: How To Score Discounts
West Elm, the Brooklyn-based modern home furnishing retailer, is coming to North Bethesda's Pike & Rose development on Thursday, Oct. 3.

BETHESDA, MD — Modern home décor brand West Elm is coming to North Bethesda's Pike & Rose development on Thursday, Oct. 3.
Located at 951 Rose Ave., the new 11,572-square-foot store will showcase West Elm's holiday assortment along with its core home designs. Customers can take advantage of the company's free in-store Design Crew services to discover new styles, develop room layouts, schedule installation services, and more.
This will be the retailer's fourth location in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The Brooklyn-based brand already has locations in Fairfax County, Va. and Logan Circle in D.C.

"We're growing our presence throughout the Greater D.C. area to bring residents more convenient ways to discover West Elm's original designs and take advantage of our in-store offerings, such as free design services," said Andrés (Dru) Ortega, West Elm director of Public Relations & Partnerships. "Pike & Rose's re-imagined urban development aligns with our commitment to conscientious living, community development and intentional design."
LOCAL Network
The North Bethesda location encourages customers to shop local. Through its LOCAL program, West Elm offers small business retail space to sell their speciality products.

With the addition of West Elm Bethesda, the LOCAL network will feature nine new D.C.-area artists and makers, including:
- Clare Winslow: Colorful abstract screenprints painted in Bethesda.
- Fybur: Mid-century prints inspired by nature in D.C.
- Goodnight Darling: Naturally relaxing bath products crafted in D.C.
- Harper Macaw: Ethically sourced luxury chocolate bars made in D.C.
- Heather Kirtland: Hand-painted vases striped with sunset hues in Maryland.
- Joseph Craig English: Vibrant paintings depicting scenes of Bethesda.
- The Neighborgoods: Illustrated dish towels and greeting cards designed in D.C.
- Tomahawk Design Co.: D.C.-made home accessories and gifts featuring a Maryland motif.
- Painted Palettes: Greeting cards featuring watercolor prints painted in D.C.
Grand Opening Celebration
West Elm Bethesda is hosting a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Store Hours
West Elm Bethesda is open Mondays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
