Westfield Montgomery will bring back Pink Central, the official hub for all events, activations and sweepstakes throughout the weekend. Bright Pink ambassadors and center representatives will be on-site at Pink Central to provide guests with Brighten Up informational kits, as well as sign them up for helpful Breast Health Reminders, monthly text message reminders to be breast self-aware and speak up if something has changed or feels abnormal.
Westfield will donate up to $10,000 to Bright Pink, by committing a $1 donation for every guest signing up for the text message reminder program.

“Westfield Montgomery is committed to raising awareness and encouraging prevention through VIPink Weekend, while providing the local community with opportunities to come together for a worthwhile cause,” said Patti Green, senior marketing director at Westfield Montgomery. “Breast cancer affects one in eight women, so we are honored to support Bright Pink as it aims to lower this statistic and help eradicate this disease.”
On Thursday, April 30 beginning at 6:30 p.m., Westfield Montgomery will host the VIPink Preview Party starting with a reception in the lower level Nordstrom wing where guests can learn about preventive measures against breast and ovarian cancer, while enjoying light food and beverages from CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar, MET Bethesda Lobster ME and Cleo’s Oil Bar. Immediately following the reception at 8:15 p.m., guests will enjoy an opening night movie screening of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” at ArcLight Cinemas. Tickets for the reception and event are $35 and all proceeds benefit Bright Pink.

In addition to events, activities and Bright Pink educational tools, every $10 event ticket purchased provides guests with an automatic entry into a sweepstakes online for a chance to win prizes, including: an Under Armour gift pack, a custom Lilly Pulitzer artwork piece, a Nordstrom beauty package, and Westfield’s national grand prize, which is a trip to London.
