Westwood Holiday Social to bring the spirit of giving

Brave the chill for hot cocoa, ice sculpting and more.

Welcome the season with open arms at the Westwood Holiday Social on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Westwood Shopping Center located at 5400 Westbard Ave., Bethesda.

Tis the season of giving and attendees can do so by donating a new unwrapped toy to our charity partners at the National Center for Children and Families. The organization has earned a reputation in the community as a champion for its most vulnerable members.

A gourmet hot chocolate bar with an array of tasty toppings such as marshmallows, whipped cream, mint sprinkles, crushed peppermint and cinnamon sticks will help keep visitors warm while they watch ice sculptor working live on a wintery creation. Wonder what it will be?

The event is free to attend, food will be for purchase, and we encourage community members of all ages to come out for the celebration!
