What's Open, Closed for Veterans Day 2015?
Here's what public facilities will be open or closed in Montgomery County.

Veterans Day 2015 is Wednesday, Nov. 11, and several Montgomery County government buildings and services will operate on a slightly different schedule.
Montgomery County Openings, Closures
The county announced the following government hours for Veterans Day:

- County offices: closed.
- Libraries: closed.
- County liquor stores: all retail stores are open normal hours.
- Recreation: aquatic and community centers open as scheduled; classes and programs will meet as scheduled; all senior programs cancelled, and administrative offices and senior centers closed.
- Montgomery Parks: for holiday operating schedule on Parks’ facilities, including Brookside Gardens, ice rinks, tennis centers, trains and carousels, visit www.MontgomeryParks.org.
- Ride On: special modified holiday schedule; go to www.rideonbus.comand click on “Holidays” to see specific schedules.
- Metrobus: Saturday supplemental schedule.
- Metrorail: Saturday holiday schedule.
- TRiPS Commuter Stores (Silver Spring and Friendship Heights): closed.
- Refuse/recycling pickup: no collection. Collection provided one day later for remainder of week (last collection day is Saturday).
- Transfer Station: open.
- Parking at public garages, lots, curbside meters: free.
- MCPS Administrative Offices: open.
- State offices and courts: closed.
City of Rockville
In Rockville, officials said City Hall, the Rockville Senior Center, Glenview Mansion and the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre box office will be closed Wednesday for Veterans Day.

All other city facilities will be open for regular hours. Recycling and refuse will be collected on a normal schedule.
Rockville will hold its annual Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11 at Veterans Park, at the corner of Routes 28 and 355. Learn more at www.rockvillemd.gov/veteransday.
