Whole Foods, Giant, Safeway: Thanksgiving Store Hours In Bethesda

BETHESDA, MD — We've all been there. It's Thanksgiving morning. You've started preparing the perfect feast before the guests arrive. And then it hits you: a key ingredient never made it into the shopping cart. For some people, it'll be cranberry sauce. For others, it'll be bread rolls. For me, it's always the gravy.

Don't panic. Plenty of grocery stores in Bethesda-Chevy Chase will be open — at least for a little while — on "Turkey Day." Here's a list of stores that will be open and closed on Thursday, Nov. 28. Operating hours may vary by location, so it's best to double check with your local grocery store.

What's Open On Thanksgiving:

• Harris Teeter: Stores will open at 6 a.m. and close at 2 p.m.
• Whole Foods: Stores will be open at 7 a.m. and closed at 4 p.m.
• Giant Food: Stores will be open at 6 a.m. and closed at 2 p.m.
• Target: The store will be open at 5 p.m. and closed at 1 a.m.
• Safeway: The store on Bradley Boulevard will be open at 12 a.m. and closed at 7 p.m. The store on Sangamore Road will be open at 5 a.m. and closed at 7 p.m.
• Balducci's: The store will be open at 7 a.m. and closed at 4 p.m.
