Woman Hurt in Inner Loop Crash Near Potomac
A South Carolina woman was sent to the hospital after a truck struck her Honda Civic on I-495 near Potomac early Saturday.

Potomac, MD — A South Carolina woman suffered serious injuries when her car was struck by a truck on Interstate 495 early Saturday, according to Maryland State Police.
The accident happened about 1:45 a.m. on northbound I-495 near Persimmon Tree Road.
State Police say a 1999 Honda Civic driven by Samantha Faye Justice of Hope Mills, NC, was on the left shoulder of I-495 before Persimmon Tree Road. Justice was accelerating into traffic when her car was struck by a 2015 International truck tractor, driven by Daniel Lee Coffrin of Church Road, VA, police said.
