UPDATE: Missing Woman Found Safe
The Glenarden woman has signs of dementia and was last seen at the rec center in Silver Spring.
UPDATED at 10:35 a.m.
A woman missing since Tuesday has been found safe and unharmed, say Montgomery County Police. No details were released on where she was found.

Gloria Cecile Smith lives in the 8600 block of Glenarden Parkway in Glenarden. Smith regularly participates in senior activities at the Long Branch Recreational Center at 8700 Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring.
Authorities say Smith was last seen at the rec center at about 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9.
Police describe Smith as 5’10” tall and weighing 140 pounds. She has short black and brown hair cut in a “bob” style. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a long, black trench coat with fur trim, a burgundy cotton sweat suit, and black boots. Smith also wears glasses with plastic frames.
Police and family are concerned because Smith is not familiar with the area and has displayed signs of dementia.
Anyone with any information regarding Smith’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police at 301-279-8000.
