Woman Struck By Car In North Bethesda Has Died: Police

A 31-year-old pedestrian has died after getting hit by a car in North Bethesda Saturday morning.

BETHESDA, MD — A 31-year-old woman hit by a car while crossing the street in North Bethesda has died, according to authorities.

Montgomery County Police have identified the pedestrian as Jennifer Christine Dimauro, of North Bethesda. She died from her injuries at a local hospital.

The incident happened on Saturday, July 20. Shortly after 10 a.m., emergency crews responded to the intersection of Tuckerman Lane and Kings Riding Way for the report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

A preliminary investigation revealed that 2015 Chevrolet Spark was traveling eastbound on Tuckerman Lane near Kings Riding Way when it hit Dimauro, who was attempting to cross the street.

Police have identified the driver of the vehicle as Chase Lawrence Dobler, 27, of Rockville. He was not injured in the collision.
