Wootton Students, Alumni Remember Principal Doran

On Twitter, shocked community members used #woottonstrong to fondly remember the educator, who died Wednesday.

As students, staff and graduates of Thomas Wootton High School mourned the death of Principal Michael Doran, they shared memories of the beloved school leader on social media.

The hashtags #woottonstrong and #ripdrdoran filled with messages of sympathy, and thanks for Doran’s dedication.

School officials said Doran was found dead Wednesday morning at his Bethesda apartment.
