1 Killed In Crash With Tractor-Trailer In PG County: Police
Police said the accident happened early Friday near a shopping center on Oxon Hill Road.
OXON HILL, MD — A Fort Washington man died Friday after the car he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer, Prince George's County police said.
According to authorities, the crash happened shortly before 4 a.m. in the 6200 block of Oxon Hill Road. Police said Evan Heyward, 40, was driving east on Oxon Hill Road when he hit a tractor-trailer making a left turn onto Oxton Road from a shopping center.
Heyward was taken to the hospital, where he later died, police said.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured and remained on scene, according to authorities.
